PARKER, CHRISTOPHER LEWIS "CHRIS"

37, of St. Petersburg, Florida died Sunday (Jan. 25, 2004)
in a boating accident on Tampa Bay. Born in Beaufort, S.C., he came here in 1977 from St. George, Utah. He was co-founder of the national Bonefish Grill restaurant chain, which he sold to OSI Restaurant Partners, /Outback Restaurant originated in St. Petersburg .

He was a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, OPBA - Offshore Power Boater Association and was active in community charity work in Pinellas County. Survivors include his father, W. Lewis, St. Petersburg; his mother and stepfather, Elaine P. and F.C. Frick, Greenville, S.C.; and three sisters, Susan E. Mayo, Raleigh, N.C., Lizette Parker, Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Sam S. Braddock, Florence, S.C. . Services were held at Anderson-McQueen Cremation Tribute Center - Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg, Florida.
